Mannasim Script Generation Tool

Mannasim Script Generator (MSG), which is presented here in its BETA version, is a front-end for TCL simulation scripts easy creation. Choosing some simulation componets configuration from a list of parameters a new simulation script is build Mannasim Script Generation Toolinstantly.

MSG is provided within the Mannasim Framework and is located in scriptGeneratorTool/ folder inside the framework main directory. It's written in pure Java language and consists of two distinct parts:

• GUI Data Acquisition - a user interface that collects simulation parameters from users choices. These choices are stored in a XML data file.
• TCL Generator - a simple XML parser witch produces a TCL file from data contained in XML file

To run MSG from a terminal client just changes your prompt to the application folder and type:

• In a MS-Windows system
  c:\> msg-win32.bat
• In a Linux system
  $-> ./msg-linux.sh

you should see generators main window as shown in the figure bellow (click on it to enlarge).

To create a new simulation script simple clicks on the File->New command.
